A special letter of THANKS to everyone who worked on the reunion for 2 whole years planning the event & to all who contributed & to all of you who attended!

• Thanks to the Reunion Committee: Teresa deArrigoitia Garrett, Charlie Fitzgerald, Karla Henning Starkey, Joni Hock Russell, Laurie Parsons Yahn, Suzanne Roess Barnes, & Bob Simms.
  
• Additional kudos to Brett Stiegel, for handling the golf tourney,
  Cathy Cullens Bame for handling the Awards, Laurie Parsons Yahn for organizing the Slideshow & Sarah Chestnut Castor for handling the Memorial Wall. An extra special thanks also goes to our behind-the-scene-workers: Pam Grabe & Caren Napier.
  
• We are all very grateful for the Class of 1979 Pages that volunteered their evening to work our reunion and allowed us all to enjoy ourselves. The pages were: Leslie Chandler Robinson, Mary Hillman Greer, Lisa Laury Hamre, Dre’ Fausnaugh Arayo, Elizabeth Ward Manno, & Kim Kingsley Fakess.

Reunion Wrap up

• Event Recap: We had over 163 classmates indicating that they would attend, and we had 206 attendees, including 44 arrivals at the door! Fortunately we were able to refund the late fee to all those who paid at the last minute – (Note: to those who still owe your money you should sleep with one eye open & should make your check payable to: Jack Kervorkian ? (Just kidding – at least 3 that still owe your money so you can still send your $$$ in!)

• Awards Nominees & Winners: See slideshow posted on the website in a week or two.

• Picnic Update & Photos were published by Baldwin Park’s community newsletter. We had a great turnout, with members staying several hours after the events were over!

• GOLF Update & Photos by Brett Stiegel: The winning foursome was Charlie Fitzgerald's clan (Charlie, son, daughter and Blayne Barber). Charlie's son and daughter each won the longest drives and a “closest to the pin” each. Mary Woodard Critchfield won two “closest to the pins”. I’m told you had to be there to be recognized as winning the Crown Royal "drunkest golfer award".
